How do I use the Herb Press tools, and what sets it apart from conventional massage tools?
The technique follows the same principles as any massage or bodywork tool — glide, press, and roll along muscles and meridian lines at your own pace and pressure. What makes the Herb Press distinct is its composition: our tools are crafted entirely from herbal powders bound with natural adhesives, which means they are sensitive to moisture. Please use them only on dry skin with dry hands, and avoid any contact with water during use. Exposure to moisture will cause the herbal surface to begin dissolving, which shortens the life of the tool. When not in use, store in a cool, dry place away from humidity.
How frequently should I use it?
For general wellness and maintenance, 2–3 times a week is a good rhythm to build into your routine. For areas with persistent stiffness or tension — the neck, shoulders, lower back — daily use is perfectly fine. That said, we recommend keeping each session within one hour to give your body time to rest and absorb the benefits. More is not always more; consistency over time is what creates lasting change.
Can I use carrier oils or essential oils alongside the Herb Press?
Yes — and we actually encourage it. A small amount of natural carrier oil such as jojoba or sweet almond oil applied to the skin before use will help the tool glide smoothly and support deeper absorption of the herbal compounds. The key word is small: too much oil can begin to dissolve the tool prematurely, shortening its lifespan.
As for essential oils — they're a nice addition, but not necessary. Our Herb Press tools are already a complete herbal blend in themselves. Introducing additional essential oils may alter the integrity of the original botanical formula, so if you do layer them, choose mindfully.

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Every Herb Press tool is handcrafted from herbal powders and made fresh to order — this is intentional. Freshly made tools retain the highest level of active botanicals and herbal potency, which is central to how they work. Because of that, slight variations in color and aroma between batches are completely normal and a sign of authenticity, not a defect. For this reason, we are unable to accept returns based on color or scent issues. We also cannot accept returns for tools that have already been used, as they will have come into contact with your skin.
However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make it right — simply reach out and we'll send a replacement. If you prefer a refund, we'll process it promptly upon receiving photo evidence of the issue.
When will I get my order?
All items are handcrafted from seasonal local herbs and ship directly from China. Standard delivery takes 7-14 days. In some cases, orders may arrive within 3-4 days, though we cannot guarantee expedited timelines. Delivery times may vary based on your location and customs processing.

All Noogava packaging is made from organic, recyclable, and biodegradable natural materials. We believe that how something arrives matters as much as what's inside — so we source only natural fibers that return gently to the earth.
